April 5, 2026: Magic, Broken, Fate

Day five already! Here’s your prompt this morning:

Today’s Prompt

We pulled an asterism card! These form-related cards are more process-oriented than formal; they ask you to generate poetry in a unique way. Try your hand at this one, but if it doesn’t suit you, feel free to write in a more traditional form.

Write a poem incorporating the concepts of Magic, Broken, and Fate. One approach to this prompt is to generate lists of words and images you associate with the three concepts on a piece of paper, then cut those words up and arrange them into a poem (perhaps emulating brokenness… or magic or fate?)
